Kamiko by Emmy Toyonaga

I think I'll just do fan art on Thursdays.

I always forget to do Monday's fanart post, because it's Sunday and I don't want to do any work on Sunday.

Well, it's more like after watching John Oliver, it's late, and I don't remember to do anything.

Today's fanart though is by one of my long time friends, Emmy Toyonaga.

Emmy was actually the founder of Drawing Meats way back when.

She left EA years ago and moved on. I still keep in touch with her. She's still working on art for independent games, and I hope you'll be able to see some of her work when it pops up.

If you do want to see some of her past work you can play MySims -- she did the character design and style of the game. I worked on the UI for MySims, MySims Kingdom, and MySims Agents.

I don't really have any links to her since Emmy stays off social media, although here's a link to an indie game she's working on called Project Rakuen -- I know next to nothing about it.

Also, this is Emmy's new group Double Jump up in Seattle.

I've got a lot of fond memories of Drawing Meats and playing Minecraft with her and her husband on our small server. They built some pretty sweet stuff in our minecraft world. Well, we all did. Here's some timelapse videos from way back when of our minecraft world:
